How we helped Pally Ventures achieve contracted capacity on dual water and vodka lines
Pally Ventures Ltd, a Kenyan beverage producer with 50 employees, was establishing a new production facility to supply the local market with PET bottled mineral water and glass bottle vodka. While the company held ISO 9001 certification and had clear production targets, they faced a critical challenge: the lines they had contracted were not delivering the agreed output, leaving them unable to meet market demand and threatening their position as an emerging brand.
- Output shortfall: the original lines failed to deliver the contracted capacity, creating supply gaps and lost revenue
- Manual blending inefficiency: recipe preparation was done manually, leading to inconsistent vodka quality and high error rates
- Inconsistent fill levels: filling accuracy was unreliable, affecting product appearance and compliance
- New brand market pressure: as an emerging brand, Pally Ventures needed reliable production to capture local market share quickly
- Limited technical resources: client had no in-house engineering team for complex commissioning
- Dual-product complexity: managing two different products (water and vodka) with different bottle formats and filling requirements
- Complete dual-line re-engineering: we designed two dedicated lines to consistently achieve 6,000 BPH for water and 5,000 BPH for vodka, with guaranteed throughput
- Electronic flowmeter automatic blending system: automatic flowmeter controls replace manual blending, eliminating recipe errors and improving production consistency
- Micro-negative pressure filling technology: delivers precise ±5mm liquid level accuracy on both PET and glass bottle formats
- Fast-track delivery: contract signed in August, equipment delivered by November, enabling rapid market entry
- Remote technical guidance: we provided detailed documentation and remote support for self-commissioning, enabling the client to start production without on-site engineers
- PLC automatic control with online fault display: each line operates independently with centralized PLC control, reducing operator workload and enabling quick problem diagnosis
Dual-line configuration: mineral water (PET) and vodka (glass) in one integrated plant
The Pally Ventures project was designed as two parallel production lines sharing common utility systems. Each line was engineered as an integrated production system rather than isolated equipment, with the ability to operate independently while sharing water treatment and support infrastructure.
