A Filling machine is a thing that are used for packing liquids like Coke, soft solid like paste or adhesives that are dangerous, and gas into their containers. With these, we can fill our products no matter what kind with relative ease because of the automation, and central controls. The ones that are used for filling soft solids like and dangerous (or non-dangerous) adhesive like cement have a unique way of doing things, as they do it very accurately, so, we are here to find out what they do, and how they do it:
All of the credit goes to the piston filler on top of it. This is why they are called a piston filling machine. The piston on top of it provides a way of measuring a paste or adhesive volume. While the volume of the piston filler's fills in with a thin or thick product it does not changes its own volume but the piston inside does this job. While a worker knows what volume he or she needs to pack, the piston is going to help them do that. The piston does its job by opening the way of filler in various intervals that are called strokes. The worker can control the number of strokes, elevation of the filler, and even the tilting of the filler, all of which contribute to the volume of the material that is being filled in.
Well, in short answer, the answer is the piston pushing itself against the material that has to be filling the container. It is not that simple though, as there are some mechanisms that work at these not so simple processes. You see, there is a cylindrical rotary valve right between the filler, piston on either side of the filling machine, and in the end discharge tube. The cylindrical valve is hollowed out on the opposite side of the filler where it rests unless the piston strikes to push it on the other side, which is: the discharge tube. The hollow point lets some volume of water escape. So, whenever the piston is pushed forward as per the user's control, then the rotary valve lets the water escape through the hollow point. This happens because now the hollow point comes near the discharge tube because of the push of the piston, which brings it sideways because of the push of the material with it, and in the end, flows through the discharge tube.
This is the end of the line here, and as usual, as it happens in the end, we are bowing out, but now without a few words. We hope that what is piston filling machine, how it works, and how awesome its accuracy is. We also talked about what contributes to its accuracy through various mechanisms and processes that happen internally inside the machines.
